Summary, etc. The researcher made use of descriptive, comparative and correlational designs to look into the solid waste management strategies of secondary schools in Rizal IIB, A questionnaire-checklist was utilized to collect data from 10 school heads, 106 teachers and 390 students. Statistical tools like frequency counts, weighted means, comparative and correlation statistics were used for statistical analysis of the gathered data. The study found that the school heads manifested readiness in discharging their duties and responsibilities as evidenced by their profile variables. The students supported the different phases of solid waste management being implemented in schools, the strategies employed by the schools along the six areas of solid waste management were effective. School heads and teachers' perceptions do not vary as to the level of effectiveness of the strategies employed. Their perceptions, however varied with that of the students. It was also found out that school heads' profile has nothing to do with the level of effectiveness of the solid waste management strategies. Students' support/opposition to the practices along the six phases of solid waste management play a big role on the level of effectiveness of the strategies. Hence, it is recommended that the significant inputs of the study should be used as basis for policy formulations in order to enhance students' support to the six phases of solid waste management as well as the level of effectiveness of the strategies along the six areas of solid waste management.
