Summary, etc. This thesis-study aims to help young people to answer the call towards being disciples of Jesus Christ in view of the need for them to be empowered in cooperating and participating in His mission which He entrusted to the Church. The coined word "youth discipleship" is a revelation of the constant invitation that they must fulfill their role as true members of the Church who are willing to venture the roads to attain the goal of experiencing and sharing Jesus Christ and His mission. Thus, in comparing some specific writings of Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis leads to a realization of the similarities, differences and progress of their reminders that young people are the present and the future of the Church who are following God's word, the examples of Jesus Christ, the obedience of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the teachings of the Catholic Church. The catecheses of Pope John Paul II, with his messages, speeches, homilies, and letters. delivered to the young people, became useful as they highlight the consistency of his programs for them. Indeed, Pope John Paul II showed his desire to make them experience the unity with Jesus Christ and His Church as it ignites a clear vision for the future of the young people who are embarking to go and propagate the faith to every corners of the world. On the other hand, Pope Francis also showed his dedication to inspire them to spread the mission of Jesus Christ as he wrote his Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation to Young People and to the Entire People of God, Christus Vivil, to energize them and made them aware of their capabilities in propagating the message of Jesus Christ who is alive and is journeying with them throughout their lives. Interestingly, in this work, Pope Francis constantly invites them to an encounter and friendship with Jesus Christ. The thesis-study endeavors for the fulfillment of the young people's mission as genuine children of God. Thus, the two popes' brilliant contributions for the good of the Church, particularly the effects on young people, are manifestations of a dynamic and active Church ready to be disciples of the Lord. Their teachings and moving ways of accompanying the young people are sure guarantees of truly practicing the concept of Youth Discipleship. Additionally, the comparison on the presence of the four themes, Biblical, Christological, Mariological, and Ecclesiological aspects of Youth Discipleship in Pope John Paul II's catecheses and in Christus Vivit of Pope Francis was a product of how to learn from their eagerness to remind the young people that they were given also that amount of energy to undertake that mission to transmit what the Lord commanded the believers to do: 'Go and make disciples of all nations" (Mt 28:19).
