The Eucharist has a missionary dimension. One concrete manifestation that it has a missionary dimension is the sending forth which is usually heard in the dismissal part of the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. When the priest says-ITE. MISSA EST which means -Go, the mass is ended. It is a command of God to do mission. However, the researcher found out that based on his observation and study, the missionary dimension of the Eucharist was not observed and most of the time forgotten and taken for granted. The survey made by the researcher also shows that the respondents in the Diocese of San Fernando de La Union knows the Eucharist and its mission but they are lacking on living out the Eucharist as mission. That is why knowledge of the Eucharist without action is not enough and useless. This lies now the problem of the study that the core of the sending forth is a command to do mission but many would not observed and lived it. The faithful should always remember that at the end of the celebration of the Holy Eucharist we are sent to do mission. To live and share what we heard, learn and experience in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
