<br/><br/> Excellent school management and school governance practices are building blocks for quality public service delivery. This study evaluated and correlated the school management and school governance practices of 27 elementary school heads of City Schools Division of San Fernando, La Union; looked into the challenges and coping mechanisms relative to school management and governance practices and eventually proposed a training design to address the issues and concerns raised in the study and a model as framework to understand the interplay between the two main variables.
