520			_aThis study - entitled "An Enhancement Program in Handling Children with Special Needs (CSN) for Teachers in the Municipality of Alcala, Pangasinan" - employed the descriptive-developmental research design. It labored to propose an enhancement program in handling children with special needs for teachers in the Municipality of Alcala, Pangasinan. The enhancement program was proposed after the researcher determined: the profile of the teachers in terms of pre-service training in handling CSN, years of teaching experience, and number of in-service trainings attended in handling CSN for the past 5 years; their level of competence in handling CSN; and, the challenges they encountered in handling CSN. The researcher prays that, through this program, the teachers will be more competent in handling and teaching CSN.
