It aimed to propose a school-based financial literacy program for public school teachers. The proposed school-based financial literacy program was prepared after a determination of: the profile of the teachers in terms Of length of service, teaching position, civil status, number of dependents, net monthly take-home pay, daily expenses of the family, and family bonding and recreation activities; the extent of loan availment in terms of the number of loans availed and the amount of loan payments deducted from monthly salary; the status of teaching-learning in the subject schools in terms of the level of satisfaction of the students and the level of enthusiasm of the teachers; and, the reasons of the teachers for availing loans. In addition, the study also determined if there is a significant difference in the number of loans availed by the respondents when grouped in terms of length of service, teaching position, civil status, and number of dependents; if there is a significant relationship between the number of loans availed by the respondents and the profile variables of the teachers in terms of net monthly take-home pay, daily expenses of the family, and family bonding and recreation activities; and, if there is a significant relationship between the amount of loan payments deducted from respondents' monthly salary and the status of teaching-learning in the subject schools in terms of the level of satisfaction of the students and the level of enthusiasm of the teachers.
