School-related activities, challenges, coping mechanisms, success stories, and impact of the community practices were also looked into. The study used interpretive qualitative phenomenology. Data were obtained through interviews using guide questions and document analysis. There were 14 key informants composed of seven (7) school heads and seven (7) IP leaders, A thematic analysis was used to analyze the responses of the participants. The findings showed that supervision of curricular and co-curricular activities were undertaken to enrich the community partnership in schools. It was also revealed that organizational barriers serves as the most challenging problems that the school heads encountered. Utilization of strategic leadership became their coping mechanism when dealing with these challenges. Also, the IP schools had a successful community immersion and showed a positive influence to the community. Thus, community involvement is an important aspect to strengthen school and community partnership and be able to face whatever challenges they may encounter. With this result, the researcher developed the Binnadang Model of IP Community to help strengthen the partnership of the community and school. Meanwhile, the Binnadang Community Welfare Program can be utilized to empower the community with skills which can be utilized for their future endeavor. The researcher recommended that the program can be adopted and implemented in their respective schools to foster participaion among the community. | ||
