520 _aThis study aimed to assess the performance of the Government Housing Bank (GHB) in Bangkok Metropolitan, Thailand in terms of looking at the performance of the managers and staff of the 31 GHB branches from 5 zones during the bank year of 2006. The performance of the GHB was measured in terms of the following qualitative and qualitative components: timeliness, adequacy, and reasonability for the qualitative performance; while loans (amount of granted, number of loan) and financial analysis (Capital Adequacy, Asset Quality. Management Quality, Earning / profitability. Liquidity, Growth, Risk) were examined for the quantitative performance. The impact was measured in terms of the GHB employees and GHB's customers assessment of the banks' performance with regard to timeliness, adequacy, and reasonability of the performance of GHB. The study's respondents include 31 GHB managers, 975 GHB staff and 1087 GHB customers. Gathered information from the GHB employees included Socio-demographics, Human Resource Management and Administrative Capability factors; the managers and staff's performance in terms of timeliness, adequacy and reasonability was also assessed. The researcher used three sets of questionnaires in gathering the needed data.
