520			_aThis study determined the status of implementation of the lloko Code in the Province of La Union.. The study used the descriptive method of research. It also made use of survey questionnaire based on the provincial ordinance #026 - 2012 or the loko Code to gather data that helped the researcher find the answer to questions relating to the personal profile and status of implementation of the Iloko Code in the province of La Union.. Results showed that the Iloko Code is "Moderately Implemented" in the province of La Union and is "Moderately Effective" in the promotion of the use of the lIoko language and other regional languages in the province. The purpose of the Iloko Code are "Moderately Attained". Results also showed that different problems encountered in the implementation of the loko Code are "Very Serious" and need immediate attention by the government and the public.
