This study developed a Handbook for Coaching Parents of Children with Special Needs. Specifically, it described the demographic profile of the parent respondents based on sex, age, civil status, occupation, and monthly income. It also determined the degree of challenges of parents of children with special needs based on: caregiving history, relationship with others, relationship with the child, parents confidence, parents initial emotions, and experiences and views of parents of children with special needs. Further, it also determined the coping strategies of parents in taking care of children with special needs along: emotional, and financial needs. The study shadowed the Research and Development (R and D) methodology, which involved planning, development, and validation stages.
