The participants were 15 Home Economics students in the Schools Division of locos Sur during the School Year 2019 - 2020. The data were gathered using face - to - face interview, phone calls, and chat messages. The study found that the gains of the Home Economics students in Work Immersion Program were: provision o pre - immersion requirements; application of concepts and skills in Home Economics; work - related skills; completion of post - immersion requirement; Work Immersion learning opportunity; and career preparedness. The gap in the Work Immersion program experienced by the Home Economics students was: work - related challenges such as customer's service, competencies, regulations and compliance, social competence, and adapting to change. The researcher also formulated the Model on Home Economics Students' Engagement in Work Immersion to improve the learning experiences of H.E students in Work Immersion. It is recommended that schools should regularly conduct assessment of the Work Immersion Program to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the program as their basis in improving and providing meaningful Work Immersion experiences to the students.
