It used questionnaire and interview guide to gather data which in the process were analyzed and described using the point biserial correlation and Pearson r. Critical level for correlation was set at .05. Analysis and interpretation of the data revealed that sex is the only significantly related to the moderating variable. It also showed that school heads, which in majority are between the ages of 51- 60 years, male and married, and had either earned some units in the master's level or a master's degree, exhibited the mindful leadership skills often as a result of the regular leadership trainings and related experience that they have attended, and not from a training or development program focused on mindful leadership skills. Moreover, the mindful leadership skills of school heads strongly influence the readiness of schools for Senior High School Program. This showed that the more mindful leaders the school heads are, the more their school is ready for the senior high school. The study also found that respondents perceived the high schools in the Division of locos Norte as ready to offer the Senior High School Program because they have conducted advocacy program or information dissemination on the new curriculum; they have set career guidance program for senior high school; they made sure that profile of available and prospective faculty, and curriculum requirements are ready. Furthermore, expected and projected senior high school enrolment has been prepared, and linkages with community agencies have been established. However, with regard to facilities/materials/equipment they are not yet ready. At the time this research was undertaken, new buildings for the senior high school were still being constructed, and the needed equipment and facilities were not yet purchased, although plans for the purchase of such have been approved. Based on the findings, a mindful leadership training program was constructed and assessed by a panel of 10 content validators, and was concluded very valid in enhancing the leadership skills of the school heads. This therefore suggests that it is ready to be implemented by the Division of Ilocos Norte.
