This study was conducted to determine the Mathematics teachers' level of competence in the five domains of the Framework for Mathematics Teacher Education (FMTE) which served as the basis in the development of a training program for the improvement of their content knowledge, pedagogical skills, classroom management skills, and disposition in teaching Mathematics. The researcher used the Research and Development (R&D) Methodology to develop the training program. This study surveyed one hundre forty-seven (147) Teachers I,II, and III teaching Mathematics in the Junior High School and Senior High School from the three DepEd schools divisions in the province of Ilocos Norte. Nine (9) authorities and experts in Mathematics and Mathematics education from Region I were chosen to become validators and were asked to evaluate the training program.
