Specifically, it determined the level of readiness of pre-service teachers in Mathematics of SHS under STEM strand, namely: General Mathematics, Statistics and Probability, Pre-Calculus and Basic Calculus; the capabilities and constraints of the pre-service teachers in the four content areas of Mathematics; and the significant difference on the level of readiness of the respondents. Data were collected using a researcher-made test. The participants were 103 Mathematics pre-service students taking BSEd-Mathematics in the different TEIs in La Union during the School Year 2017-2018. The data gathered were treated statistically using frequency count, weighted means, percentage, analysis of variance and its corresponding post-hocanalysis. It was found that Mathematics pre-service teachers were slightly ready for the senior high school curriculum. The specified content areas in mathematics pre-service teachers are not fully prepared to teach the four content areas in Mathematics. It is recommended that the Teacher Education Institutions should consider the Validated Training Program for adoption and implementation to enchance the pre-service teacher's identified constraints.
