The intervention program was prepared after a determination of the status of the implementation of the Mother Tongue-Based Multi-Lingual Education (MTB-MLE) in terms of the understanding of the teachers on the MTB-MLE and the level of compliance on the use of the mother tongue as a medium of instruction, the attitudes of the teachers on the use of the mother tongue as a medium of instruction, and the factors affecting the effective implementation of the MTB-MLE. The researcher believes that through this intervention program, effective teaching using the mother tongue will be enhanced.
